  • 2004
    Taking over
    Sally and Darren Turnbull bought 'South West Nut and Bolt Centre' and changed our name to 'Banks Bolts and Fasteners'
  • 2011
    Joined Construction Supply Specialists
    Even though Sally and Darren already had significant relationships with their suppliers, they joined CSS to take their buying power to the next level enabling them to get national pricing which allowing them to give city pricing to country folk.
  • 2014
    Expansion
    Sally and Darren transitioned to their new shop at 87-91 Raglan Street during a six week period from August to September. In November they held their first carpark trade day to celebrate their move and now hold these trade days annually every September.

    Going from Strength to Strength
    Constantly reviewing our stock holdings to keep up to date with our customers needs. In the last 6 months we have added 3 new stands in store.

    Change of Ownership
    At the end of 2025, on the 1st of December, Brett and Angela Pollock took over Banks Bolts and Fasteners, creating a new chapter for the business.

Meet Our Team

Brett Pollock Owner / Manager
With over 28 years of building and construction experience, Brett brings strong experience to his role at Banks Bolts and Fasteners. He manages quotes, overseas daily operations and builds solid customer relationships. Focused on teamwork, Brett ensures consistent, high-quality service for all their valued customers.
Jacob
Working behind the scenes, Jacob plays a key role in keeping operations running smoothly. He packs customers orders, unpacks deliveries, organises freight and ensures new stock is accurately received and stored.
Judy Purchasing Officer
As an efficient Purchasing Officer, Judy works behind the scenes to ensure the business is well-stocked and ready to meet customers needs. She manages stock orders for both customers and the store, using her strong knowledge of tools and building supplies. Her organisation skills help keep Banks Bolts and fasteners running smoothly, to ensure the team can deliver reliable service every day.
Jamie-Lee
With over 5 years of experiences with banks Bolts and Fasteners, Jamie-Lee is a key part of the operations team. She brings extensive knowledge in guiding customers with product choices and providing expert advice. Always ready to step in during busy periods, Jamie supports the counter with efficiency and a friendly, helpful approach.
Febe
With over 7 years of experience within Banks Bolts and Fasteners, Febe is our longest serving team member and a key part of sales operations. She oversees internal processes, ensures customer enquiries are handled efficiently and plays an active role in supporting the front counter daily. Febe's strong focus on customer service, combined with her experience helps maintain smooth operations at a high standard.
Tuck
Working on the counter with enthusiasm and a strong willingness to learn, Tuck has quickly become an essential part of the team. With clear focus on customer satisfaction, Tuck assists with product enquires, processes transactions efficiently and helps keep the store tidy and welcoming for every customer.
